I don't quite understand your dilemma. Are you in NYU and are considering Hofstra for the sake of a half year? Hofstra is fine for a local program (better than St. John's in NY, for example), but NYU will give you access to far better recruiters than will Hofstra. Although I am not sure which recruiters are at Hofstra, I know that McKinsey and BCG both recruit at NYU. |

What I meant was Hofstra allows students to start in the spring semester and Stern, to my knowledge, doesn't. With some of the my undergrad courses credited, I could finish Zarb in 1.5 years, whereas those courses wouldn't count at Stern. So it's a question of whether finishing an MBA a full year sooner at Zarb is more advantageous than finishing later at Stern.
