I would like to get into a career in currency (specifically in options). My question is what tools do I need to be successful. I have entered in the CFA program.
Should I work on an MBA or Masters in Finance or Applied Math? If I were to go the MBA route, which schools are strong in currency trading? I heard that schools that teach by the case method is too soft and I would benefit by a more academically stringent atomosphere.
Many thanks. |

Applied Math would be a smart choice if you want to get in a career involving currency option. The MBA and CFA are not technically vigoreous enough to give the necessary background you would need to be succesful in that career.
