Advice for NY office? |

I'm currently a 1L at a first tier law school in New york City. I have a strong interest in International Law, particulary M&A in PRC, and feel that Linklaters might be a perfect fit.
I was wondering if anyone could give me advice on what the NY office is looking for, and what I could do to make myself an ideal candidate. I am studying at the EUPL in Shanghai this summer and attempting to learn Mandarin.
Any insight or advice would be appreciated.
