So my 4 interviews on wednesday went very well and I got the internship!! This is a special rotational internship for sophomores (so veeery competitive since there are so few ib internships for sophomores at the top banks). I will work in two divisions, I must choose between IBD, IMD, and capital markets. My top choices are the first two (unless someone gives me a good argument for why I should choose capital markets..ideally I would get to work in all three, but that's not possible, too little time).
It's ideal for me because I am not sure if I prefer IBD or IMD, so this way I get to experience both.
As for the questions they asked, they were mostly "fit" questions, only one of the interviewers asked me a questions about interests rates (I go to a liberal arts college, so I have no finance courses, I am majoring in economics--so they can't ask us finance questions). All four of them were very friendly, and I enjoyed the interviews, I thought the 2 hours passed very quickly.
As for you, I'm pretty sure the europe recruiting process is different--I suggest you check out ibtalk.com, it seems like an excellent forum and it's all on european ib.
good luck!
