I applied Early Action to GTown and just got a letter saying that I am part of a small number of applicants being deferred into the regular admission pool. They said this was due to the unprecedented # of applicants this year (2500 for EA). What do people think? BTW, 162/3.8 |

I received the same letter. I thought the line about how most deferrals have been subsequently admitted in past years was unusual. It makes you want to think that you will ultimately get in, but the "past years" part also hints that the competition this year may in some way be different. Good luck.
