everyone's moaning about law school debt, but how is law school debt that much worse than undergrad debt. I'm already coming out of undergrad with a pile full of loans that need repaying. When I get out of law school, at least I'll potentially have better earning power than I do as a recent undergrad. Am I missing something? |

As for hiring standards, another pretty good way to ascertain the standards a firm has is to go to their site (ie a BIGLAW website) and simply start picking through the listed attorney bios.
They may not *tell* you outright over the phone, but the bios will tell the story of the schools the firm hires from and their grade/law journal standard.
