Also... I feel compelled to state the following due to my biz/econ background. Nearly everything and person in a capitalist system (of which we're all members) must endure with the conditions of the free market. Thus, any compensation in life, all other things being equal, is a factor of risk vs. reward. Law school, any law school, is riskier than med school. The rewards, however, are generally greater. Medical school is less risky a proposition, but the rewards are fewer. What drew me to business, and still does, is that it's the greatest risk vs. reward proposition. For example, a great business man does not wake up one morning aiming to be Gates, Welch, or Rockefeller, because the odds against that are enormous (risk)... however, the results of success (the reward) are commensurate with the risk you take. |
