Wow, $125k =plus= a bonus.
Recently, a friend told me about his daughter's =starting= compensation package at a Fortune 500 company headquartered in LA. Her base salary exceeds $300k plus a performance-based bonus =plus= options which have the potential, alone, to be worth more than $3M in the next 2-3 years. All that and she's barely 27 with relatively little experience and =no= advanced degree whatsoever. Further, although the position involves =some= travel it, ostensibly, does not require 70 hours per week in the office on a regular basis.
Associates in large firms are still underpaid.....even at these levels. |

No way did a person with no experience and no advanced degree get a job offer with a base salary of $300K and $3 mil. in options. NOT A CHANCE.
