Given the fact that the practice of law is overrated, you should probably just give up on your media-induced (ally McBeal?) dream of becoming a lawyer.
With those numbers, you are looking at 10,000-tier schools, and the cost in terms of both time and money of going to such a school are just not worth it.
Good Luck at Burger King.

I am applying to law schools now with a 3.32 GPA from a top 20 liberal arts school (I graduated last May and have been working in consulting since). I did great on the LSAT, though (172, 99th percentile). I know my GPA is nowhere near what the top schools want, but will my LSAT compensate?
The non-numerical portions of my application are strong as well (good personal statement and faculty recs) with one exception: My Dean reported that I had "several minor infractions of the drug and alchohol policy," although he told me that the rest of his statement was very supportive. I explained the circumstances of the infractions in what I feel was a mature manner (accepted responsibility, stated what I learned from the incidents, etc.), so I hope that will minimize the damage.
All in all, does anybody think I have a chance at a top 10 (NYU, Columbia, Harvard, etc.)?
Any opinions are appreciated.
Thanks
