If you get the grades in Law School then that is all that matters. This has been true recently at Skadden, Cooley, Arnold & Porter, and Foley and Lardner to my knowledge.
As for working at a firm between undergrad and law school a few classmates did this. But generally whatever you do, do it well. Then you can explain how interesting it is and how much you learned from it, and why it prepared you for law school on your application. But if your looking to boost your resume then look for a job in an industry that uses legal services. This will help your 2L interviewing alot. |
