<<< . I am at a Top 15 school and I have an offer, but there are about 10 to 15% that do not. >>>
Is it harder this year because of the bad economy, or do 10 to 15% of the Top "15" normally not have jobs five months after graduation? |

It is probably a little more difficult to get a job than last year, but it is too early in the process to see if this is really affecting top 15 schools. I know several people who have not yet received offers, but there are still screening interviews going on. I have 3 more callbacks remaining. I am pretty confident that the Top 15 will place over 90% of their students with employment. But once you get outside strong regionals employment opportunities are probably heavily affected by the economy.
