IT has its ups and downs. I'm in between projects right now, but you can go far fast. The more projects I can work on and finish in a short period of time (bring to closure as fast as possible) the better I'll do.
I work as a contractor, so I finish stuff and move on.
I will say that I like working with IT people. The juniors are pretty green and think they know everything. What 24 year-old doesn't, I guess?
The regular employees are somewhat skilled. It's the veteran contractors that impress me. Patient, knowledgeable, fast as shit. Man, these guys can CODE. And the shit works!
I wish I could assimilate all their knowledge, like the Borg on Star Trek.
I'm trying to get an assignment down south. No more northeast for me (I hope). I could be in uthonsgrad's neck of the woods.....
