I am 17 yrs old and am searching now for a college major and career path. I have heard that business law is a pretty powerful degree to have.
what career opportunities will it open up for you? what would I my undergrad major be?
anything else would be very helpful.
thanks

You heard wrong. A law degree is pretty useless unless it's from a top 14 law school.
There is no such thing as a "business law" degree, a JD is a JD.
There is no requirement that you major in anything in particular in undergraduate school in order to go to law school. I don't think that the law schools really care what you major in.
I suggest that you major in something practical so you can get a good job out of college. It's a tough economy out there! Computer science is very practical. Pre-med is practical because then you can go to med school and doctors have a much better career than lawyers.
