Just curious about the age range of your sample. (Were the married students older?)
I am curious because I am going to be what you might call a "non-traditional" law student, starting at a top 14 law school this fall. Just wondering how students who have been out of school a while seem to do compared to the ones who are more recent graduates? I have heard both opinions- that they do better (more balanced perspective on life/better able to handle stress) and that they do worse (study skills are rusty/lack the stamina of recent undergrads)- however, I've never seen concrete evidence either way.
Obviously, generalizations are always dangerous things. But any thoughts?
Also, does anyone know the average age of students at top 14 law schools these days? Northwestern was the only one with stats in the application brochure when I was applying last fall. |

There are lots of students that are straight from undergrad, but there are plenty that have taken 3+ years off too. As for how each group does grade wise - I don't think you can really generalize on that basis.
