I don't know the first thing about a joint JD and MBA program so I'm asking here. I've truly considered going to business school but never law unless it was corporate related and combined in some way with a MBA program. I know many universities including Columbia for example which allow you to take classes within the other graduate schools including law but htey do not offer a combined JD/MBA. My multi-part question is: are you required to take the GMAT and LSAT for acceptance to these programs? What are the top JD/MBA programs? Are these programs more difficult to get admittance to? How do banks feel about the joint degree?
I'm interested in investment banking not law as a career but realize some top firms like Wasserstein recruit heavily at top law programs.
