I've been hearing so much about disatisfied lawyers and reading negative things on these message boards. It's enough to deter me from law school. I'd like to hear from both disgruntled and satisfied attorneys out there. Is it worth it? |

I heard the exact same things prior to entering law school. I just finished my first year. It is important to decide whether law school is something that you really wish to do. Yo are smart to try and glean some information about a law career prior to jumping in, but in the end, you have to forget what others think. It is difficult, requiring long hours of study. However, it is also very enjoyable.
I am the non-traditional student with a family and as such, it has absolutely REQUIRED COMPLETE support from my spouse/kids. If they were not behind me 100%, I NEVER would have been able to do this.
