I have to make the same decision as you between Michigan and Penn. I think I am going with Michigan because I am very interested in International Trade issues and UMich has a great Intl Law curriculum. Also, from what I've seen, Michigan has more national placement than Penn does. If you are dead set on working in New York, then Penn's placement is not an issue, however if you're not sure, then.........
Because you're at Ann Arbor now, I was wondering, how do you find the law students at Michigan????? |

hey I go to NYU Law. So I have no personal experience at either school. But working this summer, I have found that the UMich kids seem smarter, more law-worldly, like they're from a national, elite school, and Penn kids seem like they come from a somewhat shabby regional one. I haven't really thought much of the Penn students that I've met.
