your suggestion that at other law schools you would "most likely" be surrounded by card-carrying racists is just as bigoted and small minded as asserting that all howard grads are hired based on race alone. Neither claim holds water, both are offensive. |

As A Black Law Student, wherever you go to school you'll have to work hard to prove that your qualified for the position, working against the pervasive notion that you may be an under qualified affirmative action baby. I am Black and attend and ivy though both have advantaged me at times, but that is counteracted by my experience that Firms are more likely ask to see your transcript if you are Black. So your race can cut both ways for you, sometime being an advantage a lot of the times not, but your goal should not let it be determinative.
