Throw out my crack about wasting your time in law school and yau and I agree on most points.
The fact that UF is the top LS in the state and that few eastern grads come down here is certainly a fact that backs up my argument. I am not saying that Top 10 or 14 or 20 schools are not quality schools. They turn out some great lawyers. They also turn out some marginal lawyers. UF probably turns out a higher percentage of marginals but that does not change the fact that it is the dominant player in the Florida market.
Therefore, if I want to stay in Florida, and am confident in my ability to perform in LS, it is reasonable to save the $100K by attending UF instead of a Top Ten.

For the rest of your life you will walk around with a chip on your shoulder about having not gone to a top 10. You will forever have to defend the indefensible proposition that UF is 1/2 the school harvard, yale, stanford, Umich, UVA, etc. are.
And you will be restricted in your ability to practice in NYC once you realize that all real work is done there.
