I in know way meant to insinuate that BLS is less than it is. I was not trying to compare it to a fourth-tier school. My point is that you can find very competent people/lawyers at even the lowest ranked schools, so I'm sure you would find even more at BLS.
My main point remains, however, that realistically, this fact does not open the doors to biglaw firms and that a competent person from BLS must work his/her ass off (compared to an incompetent Harvard grad) to get a good job in New York.
Obviously, you did, and I congratulate you for it. I just wonder how many people who are not willing to do so enter law schools like BLS each year with the expectation of ending up where you are. |
