God above is, unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately--depenidng on how one looks at it), nothing more than one's self reversed and maginified; that is, in worshiping your god you divinse yourself. And, as Sartre once said: "Hell is other people." Ah, Misanthropy! weary of existence...but seriously, out of sheer nihilism comes eventual happiness. The Point is that there is no point; make your own. Don't expect to find salvation in anyone but yourself. Ironically, relationships are always more rewarding once one acknowledges this. |

The belief in one's self is what I am learning to do now. I guess one could say this was the lesson being taught.
I am learning that I had allowed some things to happen that maybe I should have remembered first.
I am learning.
