Have to make a decision soon. I'm in love with the vibe at Columbia -- mostly with NYC in general -- but everyone tells me I'd be crazy to turn down Harvard. Visited Cambridge, and all the students seemed miserable. Is Harvard's clout worth the pain? I'm interested in the polar opposites of international human rights law and entertainment/sports law. Is either school more conducive to these interests?

I don't know what is offered at Harvard, but Columbia has a strong partnership with the NYC Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts (VLA) -- you can work for them during law school and get hooked in to the entertainment and arts law world in NYC that way.
