In Reply To: is it possible to spend a few years working after MBA, and then go back to law school, and assuming you do well (top 10% of top 10 school) to theoretically get a job above the normal avg salaries?
Message: Do you mean, is a firm likely to pay you more as a first year associate if you have an MBA and have worked previously? Or is it your intention to work in another industry or practice in another context? If you mean the former, I think the answer is clearly no. If you'd care to elaborate, I'll be happy to try and respond. I am currently practicing at a large national firm, at which a number of my colleagues are MBA's. P.S. An MBA is a leg up on partnership, if you really did decide you wanted to practice corporate law.
