Hello fellow vault.com members,
I have a question regarding paralegal/ legal assistant work. As recommended by many colleagues and friends I am seeking to gain direct experience in a law firm before making the "final decision" to go to law school. I just wanted to know about second/ alternative career paths for paralegals/ legal assistants. For example if you are a paralegal and you decide not to go on to law school or continue as a paralegal (which is currently a great field in itself), what other places would be a good match?

it'll let you see something as a paralegal. assistant won't be good indicator of what is a firm like.
