My main motivation for applying to law schools is twofold: to serve in the public interest and to one day open up my own practice. I'll be honest. My numbers were kind of low so I applied to 2nd and 3rd tier schools in the New York area. As a New York city resident, the cheapest option would be CUNY.
Now I would to get some serious advice about CUNY.
Is there anyone here who has accepted an offer from CUNY? Tell me what motivated you to go. Anyone who graduated/is currently attending CUNY? Where do graduates generally work, and what is your opinion on the caliber of education that you are receiving? What kind of support is there for those who want to open a practice?
Keep in mind that because of my goals and my situation, money is a major issue with me. If I go to law school I will go entirely on loans.
Thank you for your time. |
