In Reply To: I am a graduate law student at no. 3 law school. Is it possible for me to transfer my credits of LL.M to a J.D at a top law school? I hold a foreign law degree. Any comments appreciated...
Message: You have a foreign JD. Why would you want a US JD? If you want the credits to transfer (grades, themselves, are non-transferable), you must fill out an application, take the LSAT, etc. However, keep in mind, it is very easy to get into an LLM program, but very difficult to get into a JD program. This is why people with JDs from Southern University can get LLMs from NYU.
