Also, do you know of any resources (websites, newspapers, etc.) that would list paralegal openings?(beyond major local papers) |

Find the large firms in your area, figure out through a simple phone call who is the paralegal coordinator (or similar post), send that person your resume, and then follow through with a call directly to that person. If you can't get on at the large firms, then scoot down to the middle size and so on.
I'm sure SOMEBODY must advertise for entry level paralegals, but I would never advise someone to just wait for an ad before finding a paralegal job. This is "What Color is Your Parachute" territory, not
a trip through the employment ads.
