In Reply To: What is extension course? How long is it? Do they have it in every big school? Where can I find it in New York City? Can I take it in summer? Thanks for any info.
Message: "Extension" is the way the University of California describes its less formal courses that are not generally designed with a degree in mind, and which often meet at times (nights or weekends) that working people can accommodate. I haven't a clue as to whether these exist in any other state. But you could probably find out yourself pretty easily by checking with your local public university. On the subject of reading comp, I have always scored extremely high on reading comp sections of every standardized test I have ever taken and I found the LSAT reading comp section to be rather difficult. However, there IS a way to parse through the sections and answer the questions within the time frame given. Be warned that a quick read and then a look at the questions won't do the trick. A method for approaching these is as necessary as a method for approaching the games.
