What are the job prospects coming out of McGeorge? What is the quality of education offered there? US News has it as a 4th tier school. I'm admitted there with a big scholarship, and also admitted to Buffalo, a tier 2 school. But is there (really such) a difference in the quality of law learning I will receive? I want to learn the law, practical lawyering skills, and get a job; the deep moral and ethical background and foundations of the law don't interest me much. I very much appreciate any advice offered! |

All I know is what I have heard. I met one guy going to McGeorge (I am in Davis and getting ready to go to UCDavis) who was very unhappy there, no details. Then I heard second hand that people there are just miserable. They definitely would have a case of lack of prestige but I think it goes deeper, what I can't tell you. I do know that people opt to go to Santa Clara instead and other low tier schools.
