I have a 3.25 from a state school and a 174 LSAT score. What are my chances for getting into a decent law school? Is there still hope? Thanks |

Hope abounds. You will get into a good second tier school in virtually every scenario, and into a middle to bottom of the first tier school in some scenarios. Although it is possible that your high LSAT may permit you to move nearer the top of the first tier, I believe that your likely admission level is at a school that is only really great, instead of extraordinarily really, really great. Not only are you at the card table of the great "get into law school" poker game, but you're holding a 10, a 2 and 3 aces. Don't fold just because you don't have the fourth ace that a 3.7 would give you!
