In Reply To: Honestly, if you feel that your career will be aided by any law degree (as long as it's from a great university), and one of your goals is to get out of the country for a while, then go for the gold in britain. Do note, though, that you need very high grades to get into a top-notch LL.M program in the States.
Message: lovesaikido, thanks for your advice, very helpful you seem to know much about the programs at these two schools, maybe I ask how? why? obviously I'm thinking too far ahead here, but i was wondering how assessment will be done for LLM schools in the US. I noticed that exams are not like US schools, at the end of every term but actually at the end of the entire degree (talk about stress!) If there are no grades, how could i apply for a LLM, if i wished to go direct after the Law BA? do references from professors take a bigger role?
