In Reply To: Am a former banker, don't want to practice law, but think I am better off with a law degree than a MBA... want to return to banking... I have been thinking about the above schools, but can't decide... American or British? I figured that since I don't want to practice it really doesn't make a difference... I already have a prestigious American undergrad, why not try something different... figure can't go wrong with Cambridge Law or Oxford Law? thoughts?
Message: I don't know how the Brits do it, but isn't it a bit early in the application season to be so confident? My advice, apply to all four (or more) and spend more time analyzing your goals (where the hell do you want to work/practice?!) before you decide. Seems to me like there would be more factors involved then simply "collecting" degrees from as many nations as you can. Apply, see if you get in, and then pick the best school based on your end goals.
