Your GPA is a negative but it should be offset by your work experience, your military work and high LSAT score. I would think that your shot of getting in to G-Town is pretty good. Definitely tell them how committed to the school you are and stress your DC connection. The Dean (I think he is called Dean Andy) is very nice and wants to help people.
That said my own experience in applying to law schools led me to believe that money for G-Town is tight even for good applicants--so if you are looking for a scholarship (as I was) I would definitely concentrate some efforts on American and GW. |

Thanks for the replies, everyone. Actually, my GPA looking back was a 2.95 so I get an extra 2% chance to get in according to LSAC :-)
My application is in and done, and we'll see what happens. I'll post an update when I know more...
