In Reply To: I am a 1L and my property class is 5 credit closed book. I have done all the readings, I am writing an outline and am up to date with it, and I have a study group. I was hoping someone could give suggestions as to how to absorb all of the material so that I can spit it out during the final. Thanks in advance.
Message: I like closed book tests better than open book tests. I seem to study more for them. Even in open book tests, I never have time to look at my materials anyway. I'm not big on study groups either, it seems like they get dragged down to the lowest common denominator. But if they work for you go for it. I study for all exams the same way, whether open or closed books. Make my own outline, go over it a whole lot of times, don't use other people's, and I do every old exam from that course that I can find. The old exams are key
