Message: I am a third-year law student at a first tier school that is ranked within the top 25. I propose that the existence of any law school outside of first tier (first 50) is a waste of valuable resources. First it wastes the students resources. Being that you scored about a 145 on your lsat should be a pretty good indication that you may not make a good lawyer. Although standardized tests are weak in some area the logic it tests is of central importance to the practice of law. Of course there is exception to this but it generally remains true. As you go down the tiers there is less and less of a chance to laid a job outside ambulance chasing and residential real estate. Second it wastes societies resources. Society would be better of training you for a career where you can benefit the whole rather than suckle on it like a parasite. Law and the profession of law will be far better off without some 2 tier and all 3rd and fourth tier law schools. I certainly would not want a lawyer to handle my complex litigation that came from Pace or anyother such school. My own personal experiences with 3 tier law students let me see the underqualified individuals that those schools admit. This is not arrogance. This is fact. Although you may respond with personal attacks or other such nonsence the fact remains that 2 3 and 4th tier schools do not need to exsist.
