I'd guess... |

Would appreciate any feedback. I graduated from a tier 1 private liberal arts school out in LA, and have spent the last 7 years as an Air Force officer. Finally decided on attending law school last year. I've had a good military career; spent the last 3 years at the Pentagon doing high-level intelligence work, and did well in my intelligence officer training (graduated as the number one). I know I have a strong resume, and I think my personal statement is strong...however, I'm concerned my undergrad GPA from forever ago will hurt me. I had a 2.9 in college, with a downward trend in the last two years, which was when I was president of my fraternity and really involved in ROTC. A lot changes since undergrad, though, when you've been working for a long time. Got a 167 on my LSAT. GTown is my number one choice (went early decision to them), followed by GW, American, and GMU (want to stay in D.C.) I've heard GTown likes prior military applicants...does anyone have any advice? Think I'm setting my sights too high? Thanks in advance. |

And this is just a guess...
According to LSAC, 11-18% of the people that applied with your numbers got in to Georgetown. If you've included information about the number 1 graduate in the int. program and have great references from your superiors to back it up, I can't see why you wouldn't get in. I'd imagine you have a pretty good shot of falling into that 11-18% based on what you've posted.
