Never retake for the LSAT essay |

I'm a "non-traditional" student (41) who has a 3.9 GPA and willing to relocate anywhere on the East Coast to get into law school. I took Oct. 5 LSAT and feel good about the test. However, I blew the essay! I started with a choice that after a few sentences I wanted to CHANGE! Obviously I couldn't so I did the best I could to defend my position.
Do you think this will hurt me signficantly in the admissions office. Should I retake the LSAT? |

Admissions officers have thousands of applications to read, personal statements to read, files & resumes to evaulate. I cannot guarantee this, but I have been told by reliable persons that the LSAT writing sample is generally one of the last things to be considered - if they are down to the last few slots, and have equally compelling scores, essays, backgrounds . . then perhaps they will compare the two. By the way, it is after October 26th now - I am also an older student (41) and wonder how you did? Good luck!
