I'm wondering what my chances are of getting accepted/money at the following schools:
Yale, Stanford, Chicago, UPenn, Virginia, Duke, Vanderbilt, BC
My undergrad gpa was 3.78 (Carnegie Mellon) and LSAT is 175. I'm working as a paralegal right now but I understand there are many, many people doing the same thing and trying to get into law school so I don't think this will help me. Any thoughts are welcome, especially regarding scholarships because I don't know how I'll be able to pay should I get into a school that I want to go to. |

I'm still concerned about paying for these schools, however, because I'm not sure about a job at a big firm. Judging from my current job, that type of work can be excessively boring, especially as a new associate. I would rather have the option to pursue whatever opportunity comes my way (government work, professor, etc.). But with $100,000 in loans to pay back, I don't think I could afford anything but BIGLAW. Do you know anything about the aid packages are getting/have gotten from these schools. Any information would be appreciated.
