I'm in a situation similar to the orginal poster's. I'm testing in the low 150 range (skipping the logic games), and am thinking about forgetting law school. My GPA is 3.9 but my LSAT is looking pathetic. I'm if I score like this on the actual LSAT I'm not gonna get into anywhere decent and probably have to struggle my whole legal life. Plus I don't even know if I want to go into law. The LSAT is really messing with my head; I'm thinking about completely changing my career path. |

If you really want to be a lawyer, don't let the LSAT get in your way. You have a stellar GPA, and that helps a great deal - from everything I've read (still somewhat of a newbie to the process), it's both the GPA and LSAT that are most important.
Why are you skipping the logic games? I mean, they're painful, but get one of the logic books and slog through it.
That said, if you're not sure you really want to go into law, then take a step back and think about where you want to go in your career. Are you having doubts because of the LSAT score, or is that just what unearthed the doubt? If you feel passionate about law, then really don't psyche yourself out.
For what it's worth, I've found a much more supportive forum on 4lawschool.com. Too many people on this one like to flame others for no reason.
Don't let the LSAT get in the way of your dreams! Re-energize yourself and kick its butt!!!
