In Reply To: to get into a top school. Just charisma, class, and a well-rounded background (not including high-level connections). I got into Georgetown, Columbia, and Harvard last year with a 3.4 and in the 86th percentile of the LSAT. Oh, yeah, but I did attend a prestigious university for undergrad. That certainly helps.
Message: I'm not sure how charisma, class and a well-rounded background will make up for mediocre grades when most schools have a grade/lsat cutoff. None of the schools I applied to even interiew. Unless you have a rich daddy who gives lots of money to the school, I think most people better focus on keeping those grades up and taking lots of practice lsats.
