I am presently visiting Michigan. Are you aware of their dual degree program with the School of Information? It was suggested to me as an excellent way to incorporate IP and the internet into a JD curriculum. |

I'm considering Michigan, and I want to do Internet/IP law, as well. But from the looks of the School of Information web site, it seems like the MIS program is designed for aspiring librarians. My impression is that it was very low-tech. The alumni listed on the web site consisted mostly of people working in museums or with university archives. If I'm going to take extra time off, I think I'd rather do it right and go for an MS. What do other people considering the program think?
Other law schools seem to be trying to develop their Internet/Cyberlaw programs, too (Duke, in particular), but I wonder if it is really of any value.
Thoughts?
