I hear you, fred. I'd trade my LSAT for your gpa in a heartbeat. Stepson's gotta be right on this one. Your numbers put you right there; now just try to separate yourself with the intangibles.
Yes, i think both our perspectives got a little whacked when we had eyes set on getting 175+ monster scores. That would've been nice indeed (we were certainly capable of it), but overall, you have to realize you're in the top 1-2% overall in the applicant pool. That's an exceedingly strong position.
You will get a great admit, and if by some miracle I can sneak into CCN with my measly 3.28, we can walk our dogs together. Let's stay in touch on apps.

Just charisma, class, and a well-rounded background (not including high-level connections).
I got into Georgetown, Columbia, and Harvard last year with a 3.4 and in the 86th percentile of the LSAT.
Oh, yeah, but I did attend a prestigious university for undergrad. That certainly helps.
