Unlike you I scored at the bottom end of my practicing range: 169. I was definitely hoping for more, but I'm not gonna despair yet. With a 3.73 and other positives in the whole package I imagine I still have a strong chance at Columbia, NYU, U of C. Clearly HYS is out, but I'll live. (Actually, I wasn't even going to apply to Y & S even if I got a 180 -- for lifestyle reasons -- but H would definitely be a treat.)
Anyway, I'm just sort of relieved it's all out of my hands now. Congrats, Kid Jr., and keep us posted.

I hear you, fred. I'd trade my LSAT for your gpa in a heartbeat. Stepson's gotta be right on this one. Your numbers put you right there; now just try to separate yourself with the intangibles.
Yes, i think both our perspectives got a little whacked when we had eyes set on getting 175+ monster scores. That would've been nice indeed (we were certainly capable of it), but overall, you have to realize you're in the top 1-2% overall in the applicant pool. That's an exceedingly strong position.
You will get a great admit, and if by some miracle I can sneak into CCN with my measly 3.28, we can walk our dogs together. Let's stay in touch on apps.

P.S. Are you applying ED to Columbia? Yep, me too.
