Well I have a 4.0 from a pretty good school (Harvard) and well I got a 176 on the LSAT but wasn't too happy with that score so I retook it and got a 180 (I really hope shcools don't average the two scores). My references are from the dean of the department and god... Do you think I have a chance of getting in?
OH yeah did I mention that I am a disabled veteran ender represented minority?
I hope I can get into a law school. |

My situation is a little different. I opted to go to a lower ranked school. However, I worked hard to get A+'s so that the LSAC would calculate them as 4.33's. Unfortunately, I was also working 50 to 60 hours per week while I was running a center that both provided free daycare to inner-city women below the poverty line and employment training. Did I mention that I served as a covert agent in the CIA for a few years after undergrad?
Unfortunately, due to time pressures, I was only able to pull off a 4.27 GPA after (LSAC calculated) and a 178.
I'm not a minority, though. I'm thinking I might have a shot at Texas Southern or Cooley, but I'm thinking that I might not get in this year because of the increased competition.
