In Reply To: I have a 2.5 gpa and would like to go to the best law school i can. I've taken practice lsat's and have gotten 170's. I think I can get higher than 175. What are my chances of getting to somewhere like Fordham Law? I am only thinking of new jersey and new york schools. Please, any advice would help.
Message: visit www.LSAC.org to get info about admissions percentage. However, when your scores are on extremes as in your case the predictors become unrealiable. The best advice is to do the best you can on the LSAT's and then apply to several schools. If you're interested in NY, NJ alone that makes it easy. Apply to almost all of the schools, should be less then 10 schools. By the way, are you doing the practice tests under time? Many people make the mistake of taking practice tests without time pressures and think that they will score that high in the real deal. Judging by what you're saying you've got the material down. Just work on the timing and handling stress on the day of the test.
