Hi nirvana. Honestly I wouldnt bet on the "big 3" simply because of the incredible high volume of applications they receive to fill so few spots. I knew a student who was president of his club as an undergrad and had a cum gpa of 3.98 and was still turned down by Yale and Harvard...he did however get accepted to Stanford so I'm sure he didn't cry. There's no real harm in trying, but to be honest save your application fee on Yale...they don't even LOOK if you're under 4.0. Best wishes. |

The under represented minority thing throws all the numerical predictors for a loop. Definitely, definitely apply I think you probably have a great chance. Especially, if you apply to all three.
