In Reply To: Despite what some people further in the post have said. The people on this board that have majored in business are not illiterate/ nor do they lack the ability to critically think. It feels as if everyone who doesn't major in business feels that we don't do anything than simple job training. Someone even mentions that you only have to read the Wall Street Journal to learn what we do. You should know that as Business majors you have a very broad education (at least half of your education is usually non-business electives). Thus, most business majors have excellent communication/reading/analytical/speaking skills and would make excellent candidates at law school.
Message: like i said, no offense. that's just how i generally view the business undergrad degree. me, i was an english major, and i routinely chastise myself for getting such a bullshit degree when i should have been studying history. ultimately, i don't see how any of this really matters. we're getting law degrees, and we're going to be lawyers. i would expect that by now most of us don't have much of our identity bound up in what we studied those many years ago. or maybe i'm just a little older than most people on these boards.
