In Reply To: As someone who would (probably) also want to practice in Boston, I've looked somewhat at the big firms in Boston (those that make the Vault top 100 firms, for example). There are people from Suffolk who work at these firms, though of course much less than Harvard, BC, or BU, which are pretty much universally the most represented law schools in the Boston market. There are few Northeastern graduates as well, though there are some. It seems that in an incoming class of associates at a top Boston firm, MAYBE one is a graduate of a Northeastern or a Suffolk. It goes without saying that at such a school, you'd need to be essentially first in your class or otherwise exceptional in some way (or preferably, both) Mind you, this is only for the top 8 or so Boston firms. I can't speak for the others. You might want to check out UConn as well, it being another New England tier one school, though not in the same league as BC or BU. I can't give you any information about it (like how they place graduates, relative to Northeastern or Suffolk). It's probably reasonably well regarded in CT, anyway. Best of luck.
