Legal Education Opportunity Program. I think its for lower class/underrepresented groups, something like that. Does being female qualify for underrepresented? Hastings_2L? And what is classified as an "underrepresented group". Do LEOP grades help at all in admissions? |

no way. ton of females here and in other law schools.
LEOP caters to diff crowds that tend to overlap for various sociological reasons:
1) poor socioeconomic background. and yes, this includes white people w/ a poorer background. lots of white people get in thru LEOP w/ harsh circumstances.
2) under-rep minorities. (and no, Asian is no one of them)
3) some other disadvantage, like a physical handicap. (yes, hastings takes some of these too!)
