Unless the partner you know is Mr. Skadden or Mr. Arps, he can't get you a job there unless you are top 10% and law review from Rutgers.
Newark NJ is ugly. I've been there. I've been to the law school. It's old and ugly. Both the law school and the "city." There are no "attractions" in Newark, just slums. What a depressing place to spend 3 years.
If Mommy and Daddy are going to guarantee you a job when you graduate, why don't you go to a law school somewhere nice like Florida or Arizona? |

So is Mr. Arps. And I'd be really surprised if Skadden even recruited at Rutgers. If they do recruit at Newark, then they're probably looking for 'color'.
